PRIVACY POLICY

CarCareTaker is operated by Joey Bradley (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy describes how we handle information for anyone who creates an account or otherwise uses the Service.

We collect the email address you sign up with, the vehicle and maintenance records you create, and your subscription status. If you add a phone number in Settings to enable text reminders, we collect that number and your consent/opt-in status for text messages. If you submit a phone number through our public opt-in demonstration page, we also log the IP address of that submission.

We use this information to operate the Service: storing your vehicle and maintenance records, managing your subscription, and, if you’ve opted in, sending maintenance and renewal reminders by text or email. IP addresses logged from the public opt-in demonstration page are used only to prevent abuse of that form.

Your account and vehicle data are stored in Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

No mobile information collected for text reminders — including your phone number and your consent/opt-in status — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It’s used solely to send you the maintenance and renewal reminders you’ve requested.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by removing your phone number from Settings. Reply HELP for help, or contact jbradleya@gmail.com.

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run CarCareTaker — Supabase for storage and Stripe for payments — and never for their own marketing purposes.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and data, email jbradleya@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email where possible. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the update.
